Ladies and Gentleman, Brides and Grooms-to-be, mother-inlaws and the father of the bride, a snowy Christmas is approaching and here in the office we are still making calls and organising the new, up and coming spring shows with bounding leaps.

Our next Newsletter for the December month should be reaching you in the next few days, telling you of our shows and special offers in early January. As always we have so many great suppliers that inspire present at all of our shows.

We have got to tell you about of our new bridal open days coming up for 2010, look out for Hoar Cross Hall Spa resort, DE13 8QS on January 10th 2010 an unbelievable historic venue that boasts a wealth of character set in wonderful gardens and parklands, visited by so many celebrities that would litteraly take your breath away! Not forgetting our fantastic Stubton Hall Site at NG23 5DD on 21st February that has recently been on television and seems to be the IT venue for creme dela creme weddings, in the Newark area...

Awards Ceremony Evening at Hassop Hall

Well what can I say, we unfortunately did not win the Small Business of the year award. Although being nominated for small business of the year award was an achievement in itself! in the picture below you can see from left to right: Tim (Sue's Partner), Sue White (MD of White Media), Debbie (Colin's Partner) and Colin Bolton (administration of White Media).

"We all enjoyed the wonderful food, wonderful companies, and wonderful hardworking people, that deserved to all win their categories. The ladies looked elegant in their evening attire with their beaus looking dapper and of course the fantastic Hassop Hall Venue, that we would love to host a grand wedding show at!" says Sue White.

The White Weddings Magazine will be out as from next week, you can pick your copies up from three John Lewis Stores, Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield, as well as the Denby Gift Store in Denby. Filled with real-life stories, and advice given from the professionals.

Great News, Awards Ceremony

Great News for the White Media team, we have been short listed by the Derbyshire Times for Small Business of the Year Award. The competition was stiff from over 60 companies that were nominated, we are now down to the last 5. Excitement in the camp for this prestigious awards ceremony will be held at Hassop Hall, the grand historic wedding venue, on November 12th. We are up against two breweries, a chocolatier company and a hips pack specialist from the Derbyshire region. We are busy looking for our tusks and diamontees, so wish us well and hopefully next week we can give you an update with photographs on all the winners for the different sections.

Full Steam Ahead For Us

Here in the White Media Office, we are on full steam ahead. Moods are high and so is work, we have our next and final wedding show for the season on the 8th of November at Bestwood Lodge Hotel, Arnold, Nottingham, in which we are really excited about. Set near Bestwood country park this venue has a unique Gothic feel with its own chapel, and the staff are very helpful with lots of tours on the wedding show day with suppliers that inspire. You can also look forward to winning champagne, beauty products and other luxurious gifts drawn on the day! you'll have a great day out in a wonderful setting with refreshments an food available, you can even get your Sunday lunch there.

On another note, the team have been working really hard for our next exciting White Weddings Magazine out this November for Winter/Spring issue, in the John Lewis Stores in Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield as well as Denby Gift store. Lots of wedding dress shops and venues, as well as a look at other peoples real life wedding stories with lots of ideas such as romantic weekends in Europe, even how to choose your wedding themes, and also how to book your entertainer. Hodsock Priory Wedding Show October 18th 12-5pm
